Florida Family and Civil Mediator

Florida Supreme Court Certified — Family and Circuit Civil

Christophe Fiori is a Florida Supreme Court Certified family and circuit civil mediator serving clients throughout Florida. Mediation is a structured, confidential process that gives parties more control over the outcome of their case than a judge ever can — and at a fraction of the cost of continued litigation. Sessions are available in person in Tampa or remotely by video, with flexible scheduling and straightforward rates.

Who Uses Mediation?

  •  Divorcing spouses — resolve property division, alimony, timesharing, and child support outside of court
  • Parents in family court — work through parenting plans and custody arrangements with a neutral facilitator
  • Attorneys scheduling court-ordered mediation — efficient scheduling, prompt confirmation, and organized documentation
  • Parties in civil disputes — contract, business, landlord-tenant, and other civil matters

Florida Supreme Court Certified Since 2014

Chris has been a practicing Florida attorney since 2010, with courtroom experience in roughly 30 Florida counties. That background matters in mediation — he understands how judges think, what litigation actually costs, and what realistic settlements look like. He doesn't pressure parties toward outcomes. He helps them reach agreements they can live with.

What to Expect

Mediation sessions typically begin at 9:00 am or 1:30 pm and continue until the parties reach an agreement or an impasse. Most sessions run 2–4 hours, though complex matters may take longer.

  1. Opening — the mediator explains the process, ground rules, and confidentiality
  2. Joint session — both parties (and their attorneys, if represented) present their perspectives
  3. Private caucuses — the mediator meets separately with each side to explore options and positions
  4. Negotiation — the mediator helps move the parties toward workable solutions
  5. Agreement or impasse — if an agreement is reached, it is reduced to writing at the session

Sessions are available in person in Tampa or remotely by video conference — no travel required.
